Does anyone remember Botch? I guess so going by the money people spend on the original press of their 'We are the romans' LP. I don't know why I never picked up that record on vinyl when it came out. Somehow I believe that they only had the cd available for some time and released the vinyl later. Why else would I have bought a cd??? Another thing that eludes me. Can anyone confirm or rebut my assumption?
Today I put on their 'American nervoso' LP again but have to admit that I'm not into that kind of music anymore like I used to be so I don't know if I'll jump on the re-release Hydrahead is about to drop in October. Although I still have the fondest memories of their Show at the Sojus 7 in Monheim, Germany. Such a great show and while thinking of it I do remember another great show I caught there. Fucking Bloodlet. Was it the same show? I think not. It's my mind again. Can anyone help?
Maybe I should put on the 'unifying themes of...' cd that compiles their early material. I might still dig that.
Pre-order starts on Sept. 28th and it's very well possible that the limited amount they are going to have available will sell out fast. More on color variations and why there are only 450 going to be made via Hydrahead. My advice: set your alarms if you want a chance to acquire this piece of (metallic) hardcore history for cheap. I feel like I should do so too. If I don't like it I can always flip it :D
Another reason to pick this up would be the 2007 deluxe remastered 2xCD that comes with the Vinyl. The Album on one Disc and studio-demo-recordings of most of the Album's songs + live material on the other. Buy now or bleed for it on ebay later. I know I won't drop major dough on that record so it would be now or never for me. Do I need that Album on vinyl? I'm undecided. I need help. Or maybe I should go by what the Brutal Knights would say: Stop whining
