Inherit xxx Straight Edge on tour

Yo everybody,
things have been crazy over here and they still are. I needed some downtime next to working a lot and the past holidays so I watched way too much tv series. Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, American Horror Story, Six Feet Under, The Walking Dead and currently Sons Of Anarchy. All quality series if you're into that kinda stuff but now let's get back to business as uge.

Time flies

And again more than a month has passed since my last post. A lot of things have happened that I would have wanted to write about if I just would have had the time for it.
Luckily I was on holidays inbetween. Makes me feel a little better about not sharing with you all that time.
Meanwhile the Void and Faith records are out on Dischord. The Inherit 7" is out on Reflections. Rise And Fall played the record release shows for their new 7" on Deathwish which is awesome by the way. Well... all these releases are awesome and well worth your hard earned dough.
I'm sure a lot more things have happened. I made some notes so hopefully I'll have some time soon to get some more updates out there.

INHERIT 7" RELEASE ANNOUNCED

It feels like forever since Reflections Records has put out a record that really interested me so I checked on that crappy discography they have up. - No pressing info of any kind at all. And I didn't find anything on any other  website. If you did let me know. - And I have to say it doesn't only feel like ages between this upcoming release I'm going to buy and the last one I added to my collection. Well, the SOIA releases are obviously something nice but I'm not really into most of these recent re-releases. There's something I cannot put my finger on that doesn't only not appeal to me but make me feel like I'm never going to buy those. Then there is the latest Deal With It LP which is probably pretty good but for whatever reason I never really got into their previous releasees so I didn't pick this one up either. I'm not saying they're a bad band. I certainly like to see them live. And their singer seems to be a nice guy. If you read a lot you might want to check up on his blog. But somehow I just can't bother to put on any of their releases at home. But at a time there was the Justice - escapades LP. Now that was a good one. I got into them quite late because I wasn't thrilled too much with most of their early stuff. A few ragers but most of it just felt too generic. Sorry. But this LP and the Live And Learn ep. Those were serious rockers.

And now it's finally time for another killer release.

At its essence hardcore is more than music. INHERIT, from London combine thrash/crossover guitar work with NYHC grooves and lyrics that go deeper than the usual tired clichés. The fabulous "The Essence" Blog posted about this rad new Straight Edge Band from the UK called INHERIT.  They have 2 songs available online. One on their website and one on their bandcamp. Both great tunes with a slight nod to the latter as for my part. Shit's hard. Get into it! They also have shirts.
