In 2009 the band released a 7" on Salad Days Records and toured for the first time the same year supporting the Broken Distance Farewell European Tour.
In 2011 Critical Point recorded 6 brand new songs for a new 7" - Trial & Error OUT NOW on Commitment Records from The Netherlands and already toured Europe last Easter together with Pressure.
If you are into old NYHC bands such as Judge, Project X, Youth Of Today and Side By Side and would like to help a bunch of 30 years old Straight Edge dudes with a D.I.Y. show in your local venue, please let us know !!!

GIANT hail from Oslo City and you should pay attention
Daniel of Common Cause fame shared a link on facebook about a new band from Oslo City. Him being the crucial dude he is with his good taste in music I knew it couldn't be that bad and had to check it out immediately. Sure enough I wasn't disappointed. This now band is totally awesome. Warzone and SSD come to my mind when they deliver their brand of Youth Crew Hardcore. Yes, I know neither Warzone nor SSD are Youth Crew bands. Yet Giant incorporate influences from them into their very own style of Youth Crew. No copycats here. Just some dudes who know where they're coming from.

Take Offense are recording new material
Just a quick update to let you know what I read on facebook today.
Take Offense are currently in LA recording songs for an upcoming ep. I've no idea who's gonna put that out but my guess would be Reaper. Why go somewhere else after the LP?
And while you're getting all siked about the news maybe you wanna grab one of their good looking shirts and give one of the whites to me. Love that design. I'm a medium. Now go order.

Insted - bonds of friendship LP in the distro
!!!!SOLD!!!!
Insted - bonds of friendship LP - 14,00
(wishingwell records)
Now if you need an introduction to this band you're really in the wrong place. Well, unless you haven't come across hardcore just yesterday that is. A definite must have for your collection. Although the cover is a cut out and shows some ringwear and the insert is not in good shape the vinyl still plays VG+. Check the pictures. Don't let this opportunity to add this beauty to your collection at a low cost slip you by. You can always upgrade the cover & insert and enjoy the music for the time being. Just like I did.

Hardskin RULE, well they are very good.
Hailing from South London, Gipsy Hill in fact and featuring Johnny Takeaway, Fat Bob and Nosher (later replaced by Nipper) they appeared on the 'Oi'scene in London in the mid 90's with the debut album Hard Skins and Hard Cunts (on Helen Of Oi records). Followed by 'Same Meat Different Gravy' on Household Name Records.
They first featured on Damaged Goods on the Double 7" single The New Wave Of The Close Shave (Damgood 111) with 6 other bands including OiZONE OiASIS andUNION JOCK. This is long since sold out.
We released the great live album of the Hard Skin experience Live And Loud And Skinhead (Damgood 167). It's worth buying for the banter between the tracks alone.
They are still going, recent gigs include a tour of Japan and their now regular Christmas shows filling the gap left by Gary Glitter!

Reckless Aggression - demo 7" in the Distro
Reckless Aggression - demo 7" - 5,00
(six feet under records * ltd. 500)
seems to be sold out at the label and the discography section is way behind so I added a description from another distro/store:
HARDCORE-PUNK. Just another reason why Australia is awesome. While the sound quality is what you would expect from a lo-fi demo tape recording, the power and ferocity of the songs is still there. This one blurs the line between hardcore and oi, much like 86 MENTALITY. You'll get 8 songs plus a 4 SKINS cover. The 7" versions of the songs have been remastered from the demo (but not remixed). Limited edition of 500 copies. 7" includes a MP3 download card.
